PAST EVENTS OTASA Congress 2007 Classic Events partnered with the Occupational Therapy Association of South Africa (OTASA) to host its 31st Congress in Pretoria from 4 to 6 July 2007. Please click here for brochure >> OTASA.pdf SASGAM SHOW 2005 and 2006 Classic Events organised the SASGAM (South Africa Sporting Goods Agents and Manufacturers) trade shows. SASGAM SHOW 2005 and 2006 were the ultimate trade shows for international and local manufacturers, agents and suppliers of sporting goods, apparel and footwear to showcase their products to buyers and retailers in South Africa and African countries. The Golf Day sponsorship packages were open to SASGAM members and non-members. It was an ideal platform to entertain and network with clients, agents, colleagues or friends. School Sports Expo 2006, Johannesburg (5 - 8 September 2006) School Conferences launched our inaugural School Sports Expo 2006 at the SA National Museum of Military History, Johannesburg from 5 – 8 September 2006. Suppliers, providers, vendors of school sports equipment, apparel and sports facilities were at the Expo, showcasing their latest products and services to schools. Invitation was extended to the following to visit the School Sports Expo:
Concurrent to the Expo, we also organised a series of eight half-day Coaching Workshops on Cricket, Netball, Rugby, Aquatics, "Strength", "Nutrition", "Speed, Agility & Flexibility" and "Explosive Power and Strength for Sport Performance" plus a one-day Conference on "Total Sports Management in Schools". Following excellent reviews, ratings and very encouraging feedback from delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, we again were proud to run another expo focusing on winter sports for schools. Winter Sports School Expo 2007 Johannesburg (27 February - 1 March 2007) and Durban (13 March - 15 March 2007) Winter Sports School Expo 2007 was held at The Wanderers Club and at the Durban Country Club, respectively. Once again, suppliers, providers, vendors of school sports equipment, apparel and sports facilities were at the Expo, showcasing their latest products, services and special offers to schools. Entrance to the Expo was free of charge and the Expo started daily from 8.00 am till 5.00 pm. Directors/Heads of Sports, Sports Co-ordinators, Coaches, Facilities/Estate Managers or Educators involved in school sports were invited to visit the Expo. Schools were also invited to book seats for the following half-day Workshops - basketball, hockey, netball, rugby, soccer and tennis plus 'Speed, Agility & Flexibility for School Players', 'Explosive Power & Strength for Sport Performance' and 'Nutrition for School Players'. There was also a one-day Conference on School Sports: Ensuring Safety and Effective Management. Andre Watson, Professional Rugby Referee was the Sports Celebrity Guest Speaker in Johannesburg and Craig Millar, in Durban.
